Lionel Messi's bodyguard suspended for "inappropriate conduct" at the Leagues Cup

The Leagues Cup announced this Friday that it will suspend a member of the Inter Miami delegation from all technical areas of the tournament for "inappropriate conduct" following last Wednesday's match against Atlas of Mexico at Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale.
"Following the Inter Miami CF vs. Club Atlas match on July 30, a member of the Inter Miami delegation displayed inappropriate behavior by entering restricted areas without official event credentials," the Disciplinary Committee of the Leagues Cup, currently underway, warned in a statement. It also said the Florida club will face "a fine."
The suspended person is Yassine Cheuko , Lionel Messi's bodyguard , according to ESPN.
Cheuko entered the field of play after the end of the match, which ended in a 2-1 victory for Inter Miami , after an argument broke out between members of both teams in the midfield, and he pushed two Atlas players to separate them from Messi.

It was during an exchange with Uruguayan Matías Cóccaro, to whom he dedicated Marcelo Weigandt 's last-minute goal and whom he reacted against after the former Huracán player's courageous performance following the Mexicans' equalizer. The dispute was finally resolved when the Argentine star apologized and gave him his prized number 10 jersey.
The bodyguard was already denied permission to remain on the touchline during Inter Miami matches this season, where he ensured that no fans who invaded the pitch could get close to Messi, as Cheuko himself revealed in an interview.
Regarding the incident against Atlas, Mexican player Matheus Doria said in a press conference that he understood the bodyguard "is there to protect him from a possible entry by a fan," but maintained that he "does not have that permission" with respect to opposing players.

Inter Miami, coming off a close victory over Atlas thanks to a fabulous Messi (who provided two assists), faces Necaxa, the Mexican team coached by Fernando Gago, this Saturday at 8 p.m. for the second matchday of the competition that brings together 36 MLS and Liga MX teams.
Since his arrival at Inter Miami, Messi has rocked the United States, with fans and followers captivated by his presence on American soil. Throughout his career, Leo was always under strict surveillance and protection, whether in stadiums, at events, or even while visiting any city.
The Rosario star now finds himself surrounded by hundreds of fans eager to get a photo, an autograph, or simply to say hello. Aware of this fervent passion, David Beckham has reinforced Messi's security by hiring a specialized agency to closely monitor his every move.
This is how the American Yassine Cheuko, the captain of the Argentine national team, appeared in the life of the man who, despite his savagery, followed him tooth and nail, even during the "pink" team's matches.
Cheuko is not only responsible for ensuring Messi's safety, but he has also captured worldwide attention for his dedication and professional career.
This former elite US soldier has experience in the Marines and was part of the renowned Navy Seals. He also served in conflict zones such as Iraq and Afghanistan . However, his skills are not limited to the military: Cheuko is also an expert in boxing and martial arts.
Since taking over the number 10, Cheuko has gone viral on more than one occasion for his speed while running and stopping fans who wanted to take a photo with the Rosario star.
Until now, Cheuko has been able to do what thousands of players and coaches have been unable to do: follow Messi everywhere.
